Grand-mère Suzanne rend visite à sa famille et découvre que ses deux petits-enfants, Thomas et Léa, ne se parlent plus depuis une semaine. Elle décide d’intervenir pour comprendre ce qui s’est passé et tenter de réconcilier le frère et la sœur qui se disputent à cause d’un malentendu autour de l’héritage de leur grand-père.

Thomas : Mamie, c’est Léa qui a tout gâché ! Elle veut garder la montre de papy pour elle toute seule.
Léa : N’importe quoi ! Tu déformes tout, Thomas. Je n’ai jamais dit ça !
Grand-mère : Doucement, doucement… Léa, explique-moi ta version, s’il te plaît.
Léa : Ben, quand on a trouvé la montre dans les affaires de papy, j’ai juste dit qu’elle me rappelait nos promenades ensemble…
Thomas : Et moi alors ? J’étais son petit-fils aussi, hein ! Tu fais comme si j’existais pas !
Grand-mère : Thomas, laisse ta sœur finir. Continue, ma puce.
Léa : J’ai jamais dit que je voulais la garder ! J’ai dit qu’on pourrait peut-être se la partager ou… je sais pas, moi !
Thomas : Ah bon ? Mais tu as dit “elle devrait me revenir” devant papa !
Léa : Zut ! Tu comprends rien ! J’ai dit ça parce que papa allait la donner au cousin Michel !
Grand-mère : Attendez… Michel ? Mon neveu Michel ?

Grand-mère : Cette montre… elle n’appartenait même pas à votre grand-père !
Thomas : Hein ? Mais… on l’a trouvée dans ses affaires !
Grand-mère : C’était la montre de votre arrière-grand-père, que papy réparait pour la rendre à la famille Martin.
Léa : Oh là là… Donc on se dispute depuis une semaine pour une montre qui n’est même pas à nous ?
Thomas : Ben… euh… apparemment oui. Je me sens bête maintenant.
Grand-mère : Vous voyez comme c’est facile de se fâcher sans avoir tous les éléments ?
Léa : Pardon, Thomas. J’aurais dû t’expliquer ce que je voulais dire devant papa.
Thomas : Moi aussi, je m’excuse. J’ai pété les plombs pour rien.
Grand-mère : Bon, maintenant que c’est réglé, il faut qu’on parle du vrai héritage de papy.
Léa : Il y a autre chose ?
Grand-mère : Bien sûr ! Ses outils de bricolage, ses livres, ses photos… Et puis sa guitare !
Thomas : Sa guitare ? Chouette ! J’adorais quand il nous jouait des chansons !
