Discussion about square footage: smaller apartment vs larger house

Thomas : Franchement, elle me plaît énormément !
Sophie : Euh…
Sophie : Ah bon ?
Sophie : Vous voyez ?
Sophie : Des barbecues… Comme si on recevait souvent ! Et le temps de ménage ? Tu y as pensé ?
Sophie : Ah d’accord ! Et avec quel argent ? Tu crois qu’on roule sur l’or ?
Thomas : Vingt-cinq ans ? Chouette ! À cinquante-cinq ans, on sera propriétaires !
Sophie : Tu plaisantes ?
Thomas : Tu as raison…

English translation

Sophie and Thomas, a young couple married for three years, are viewing properties with their real estate agent, Mrs. Dubois. They are looking to move but have very different opinions: Sophie prefers a smaller apartment in the city center, while Thomas dreams of a large house with a garden in the suburbs.
I don’t see the French text to translate. Please paste the dialogue you want translated and I’ll translate it into international English.
Mrs Dubois : So, what did you think of the house we just visited?
Thomas : Honestly, I really love it! One hundred and fifty square metres, a large garden, three bedrooms… It’s exactly what we need to start a family!
Sophie : Uh… Thomas, we’ve already talked about that. I think it’s far too big for just the two of us. And besides, it’s forty minutes from the city centre!
Thomas : Well, yeah, but look at the space we’d have! We could each have our own office, a home gym…
Sophie : A home gym? Since when do you even work out? *laughs*
Mrs Dubois : If I may, I also have a very nice seventy-square-metre apartment in the city centre…
Sophie : Oh really? I’m interested! Which neighbourhood is it in?
Thomas : Seventy square metres? But Sophie, we’d suffocate in there!
Sophie : No! Our current apartment is fifty square metres and we feel very comfortable there. Besides, in the city centre, we could walk to work.
Thomas : Exactly, I’m fed up with living in a shoebox! I’d love to be able to invite my parents without them having to sleep on the living room sofa.
Mrs Dubois : The apartment I’m offering you has two bedrooms and a large living room…
Sophie : You see? And besides, Thomas, think about the bills! A big house costs a fortune to heat.
Thomas : Yes, but we’d have our own garden! No more need to go to the park to relax. And imagine, we could have barbecues!
Sophie : Barbecues… As if we had people over often! And what about the cleaning? Have you thought about that? Who’s going to clean one hundred and fifty square metres?
Thomas : Well… uh… we could hire a cleaner!
Sophie : Oh, all right! And with what money? Do you think we’re rolling in money?
Mrs Dubois : Excuse me, but there may be a small problem… I’ve just received a call. The downtown apartment was sold this morning.
Sophie : Oh no! Are you sure?
Mrs Dubois : Yes, I’m sure, sorry. However, I have another suggestion: an eighty-square-metre apartment with a terrace, in a residential neighbourhood fifteen minutes from the centre.
Thomas : A terrace? That’s already better than a tiny balcony!
Sophie : Hmm… fifteen minutes from the centre, that’s reasonable. And eighty square metres, that’s a good compromise.
Thomas : Do you think so? I’m really set on that house with a garden…
Sophie : Listen, Thomas, let’s be realistic. With our current salaries, a large house is beyond our means.
Mrs Dubois : Besides, for the house, you’d have to allow for a mortgage of at least twenty-five years…
Thomas : Twenty-five years? Great! At fifty-five, we’ll be homeowners!
Sophie : Are you kidding? Twenty-five years of tightening our belts! No thanks.
Mrs Dubois : The apartment with a terrace would only require a fifteen-year mortgage.
Sophie : That’s more reasonable!
Thomas : Well… all right. But can we at least visit that apartment with the terrace?
Sophie : Of course! And if we like it, we can always look for a house later, when we have children.
Thomas : You’re right… And besides, a terrace is at least a little bit of outdoor space!
Mrs Dubois : Perfect! I suggest we visit it tomorrow morning. Does that work for you?
Sophie : That’s perfect for me!
Thomas : Me too. And, uh… how many square meters is that terrace?
Mrs Dubois : Twenty square meters, south-facing!
Thomas : Ah! It could be nice for barbecues after all!
Sophie : *laughing* You really never give up on your barbecues, do you!
