Sophie : Salut Thomas ! Merci d’avoir accepté de me rencontrer. Alors, tu t’intéresses vraiment au bénévolat ?
Thomas : Salut Sophie ! Oui, tout à fait. J’ai du temps libre cet été et… ben, j’aimerais me rendre utile, tu vois.
Sophie : C’est chouette ! Alors, je t’explique un peu notre projet. On organise le festival “Été en Fête” du 15 au 17 juillet. C’est énorme cette année !
Thomas : Ah bon ? C’est quoi exactement comme festival ?
Sophie : Euh… comment dire… C’est un mélange de concerts, spectacles de rue, stands artisanaux, food trucks… On attend plus de 5000 visiteurs !
Thomas : Waouh ! Ça c’est du boulot ! Et vous cherchez des bénévoles pour quoi précisément ?
Sophie : Ben, un peu tout en fait. Il nous faut des gens pour l’accueil, la logistique, l’installation des stands, la sécurité…
Thomas : Hein ? La sécurité ? Mais je n’ai aucune formation là-dedans !
Sophie : Non non, rassure-toi ! Je parle juste de surveiller que tout se passe bien, orienter les gens, ce genre de trucs. Rien de compliqué.
Thomas : Ah d’accord, ça me va mieux ! Et ça représente combien d’heures par jour ?
Sophie : Alors… euh… on demande généralement 6 à 8 heures par jour. Mais c’est vraiment sympa, l’ambiance est géniale !
Thomas : 8 heures par jour pendant trois jours ? C’est beaucoup, non ? J’espérais quelque chose de plus… léger.
Sophie : Tiens, je comprends ta réaction. Mais regarde les avantages : tu manges gratuitement, tu as un t-shirt du festival, et surtout tu rencontres plein de monde !
Thomas : Les repas sont inclus ? C’est déjà ça ! Et on peut choisir notre poste de travail ?
Sophie : Bien sûr ! Qu’est-ce qui t’intéresserait le plus ?
Thomas : J’aimerais bien m’occuper de l’accueil ou de l’animation. J’adore le contact avec les gens.
Sophie : Parfait ! On a justement besoin de quelqu’un de dynamique pour l’espace enfants. Ça te dit ?
Thomas : L’espace enfants ? Euh… j’avoue que je pensais plutôt aux adultes…
Sophie : Ah… bon, on verra ça plus tard. L’important c’est que tu sois motivé ! Au fait, tu as déjà fait du bénévolat ?
Thomas : Un peu, oui. L’année dernière, j’ai aidé pour la fête des voisins dans mon quartier. Mais rien d’aussi grand !
Sophie : C’est déjà un bon début ! Dis-moi, tu es libre tous les jours du festival ?
Thomas : Alors, le vendredi et samedi oui, mais dimanche… zut, j’avais oublié ! J’ai un mariage dans ma famille.
Sophie : Un mariage ? À quelle heure ?
Thomas : L’après-midi. La cérémonie est à 15h, donc je ne serai pas disponible après 13h.
Sophie : Hmm, c’est embêtant ça… Le dimanche, c’est notre journée la plus chargée. On compte vraiment sur tous nos bénévoles.
Thomas : Je suis désolé, je ne peux vraiment pas rater ce mariage. C’est mon cousin !
Sophie : Ben… écoute, on peut s’arranger. Tu pourrais commencer très tôt le dimanche ? Genre 7h du matin pour l’installation ?
Thomas : 7h du matin ? Aïe ! Après une soirée qui va finir tard le samedi… ça va être dur !
Sophie : Allez, fais un effort ! C’est pour la bonne cause. Et puis, 6 heures de sommeil, ça suffit pour un weekend, non ?
Thomas : Mouais… bon, d’accord. Mais alors, pas question que je m’occupe des enfants avec si peu de sommeil !
Sophie : Entendu ! On te mettra plutôt sur la billetterie ou l’information. C’est plus calme.
Thomas : Parfait ! Et au fait, il faut s’inscrire comment ? Il y a des papiers à remplir ?
Sophie : Oui, on a quelques formulaires. Rien de méchant : tes coordonnées, une assurance responsabilité civile…
Thomas : Une assurance ? Je dois payer quelque chose ?
Sophie : Non non, c’est l’association qui prend en charge. Mais on a besoin de tes infos pour te déclarer.
Thomas : Ah OK, ça me rassure ! Bon ben… je pense que ça peut le faire !
Sophie : Génial ! Je savais que tu étais quelqu’un de bien. On a une réunion de préparation jeudi prochain, tu peux venir ?
Thomas : Jeudi… euh, à quelle heure ?
Sophie : 19h30 au centre culturel. On fait le point sur l’organisation, on distribue les planning…
Thomas : Parfait, je note ! Dis-moi, on sera combien de bénévoles au total ?
Sophie : Une trentaine normalement. Mais entre toi et moi, on espère encore en recruter quelques-uns !
Thomas : Tu veux que j’en parle à mes potes ?
Sophie : Oh oui, avec plaisir ! Plus on est de fous, plus on rit ! Bon, je crois qu’on a fait le tour, non ?
