Au dernier moment, Sophie se souvient que son collègue Thomas, qui vient d’arriver à Paris pour un stage, se trouve seul ce weekend. Elle décide d’appeler Marc pour lui demander si Thomas peut se joindre à eux.

Sophie : Salut Marc ! Dis-moi, tu es toujours partant pour le restaurant ce soir ?
Marc : Ah salut Sophie ! Bien sûr, j’ai même déjà réservé pour 20h. Pourquoi tu demandes ?
Sophie : Ben voilà… euh, j’espère que ça ne te dérange pas, mais j’aurais une petite faveur à te demander.
Marc : Vas-y, je t’écoute. Qu’est-ce qui se passe ?
Sophie : Tu te souviens de Thomas, mon collègue dont je t’ai parlé ? Il vient tout juste d’arriver à Paris pour son stage…
Marc : Ah oui, le type de Lyon, c’est ça ?
Sophie : Exactement ! Eh bien, il se retrouve tout seul ce weekend et franchement, ça me fait de la peine. Est-ce que ça t’embêterait si il nous rejoignait ce soir ?
Marc : Hm… euh, tu me demandes ça maintenant ? On avait dit qu’on passerait la soirée tous les deux, non ?
Sophie : Je sais, je sais… C’est vraiment de dernière minute et je m’excuse. Mais bon, on pourra toujours se voir en tête à tête une autre fois !
Marc : Mouais… Le problème c’est que j’ai réservé pour deux personnes seulement. Le restaurant est bondé le samedi soir.
Sophie : Zut ! J’y avais pas pensé… Tu crois qu’ils pourraient nous rajouter une place ?
Marc : Pfff, j’en doute. Mais bon, je peux toujours essayer de les rappeler. Il est comment ce Thomas ?

Marc : Sophie ! On a réservé dans ce resto depuis trois semaines ! C’est le nouveau restaurant dont tout le monde parle.
Sophie : Je sais bien, mais bon… hein, on peut y aller un autre soir ! Allez, sois cool !
Marc : Bon sang… Tu me mets dans une situation impossible là ! Tiens, j’ai une idée : et si on allait plutôt dans ce petit bistrot sympa près de chez toi ? Celui où on a mangé le mois dernier.
