Dans un café près de la Sorbonne, Claire et Thomas, deux étudiants passionnés de littérature contemporaine, se retrouvent pour organiser leur programme des prochaines rencontres littéraires parisiennes. Ils viennent de découvrir plusieurs événements intéressants et doivent coordonner leurs emplois du temps chargés.

Claire: Alors Thomas, tu as regardé le programme des événements littéraires pour les trois prochaines semaines ?
Thomas: Euh, oui ! Et franchement, on a l’embarras du choix. Tiens, regarde ça… Il y a au moins six rencontres qui m’intéressent.
Claire: Ah bon ? Moi j’en ai noté quatre incontournables. On commence par quoi ? La table ronde sur Houellebecq jeudi prochain ?
Thomas: Chouette ! J’y pensais justement. Mais attends… c’est pas le même jeudi que ta soutenance de mémoire ?
Claire: Zut ! Si, tu as raison. Ben, on peut reporter à la semaine suivante. Il y a la rencontre avec Leïla Slimani à la Fnac, non ?
Thomas: Exactement ! Et en plus, c’est gratuit. Par contre, hein, il faut réserver à l’avance. Tu t’en occupes ou… ?
Claire: Euh, moi je peux pas là, je suis en cours jusqu’à 18h. Toi tu peux ?

Claire: Attends, on va s’organiser méthodiquement. Moi, la poésie contemporaine, ça me passionne moins que toi. Tu y vas seul et tu me racontes ?

Claire: Ben moi, il y a la conférence sur l’autofiction féminine à la BNF. Ça, ça m’intéresse vraiment.
Thomas: Hum, c’est vrai que c’est plus ton truc. Bon, et pour le week-end ? Il me semble qu’il y a un salon du livre dans le Marais…
Claire: Oui ! Le salon “Livres et Découvertes”. Ça, on y va ensemble, d’accord ? On pourra traîner, découvrir des auteurs qu’on connaît pas…
Thomas: Parfait ! Mais euh… tu te rappelles combien ça coûte l’entrée ?
Claire: Je crois que c’est 8 euros. Ou alors 6 euros avec la carte étudiante, je sais plus…
Thomas: Hm, faudrait vérifier. En ce moment je suis un peu juste question budget.

Claire: Bof, pourquoi ? En tout cas, ça m’arrangerait plutôt, c’est à côté de chez moi.

Claire: Attends, j’ai un pépin… Je viens de réaliser que le 22, j’ai mon cours d’italien jusqu’à 19h. Je vais être en retard !
