C’est la veille de Noël et toute la famille Dubois se réunit dans le salon pour faire le point sur l’organisation des festivités. Sophie, la mère de famille, souhaite confirmer tous les détails avec son mari Marc et leur fille adulte Léa pour que tout se passe parfaitement le lendemain. Mais comme souvent dans les famies, quelques imprévus viennent compliquer les choses…

Sophie : Bon alors, on fait le point pour demain ? J’aimerais qu’on vérifie ensemble tous les détails pour Noël.
Marc : Excellente idée ! Moi, je commence à stresser avec tous ces préparatifs, euh… on a pensé à tout ?
Léa : Maman, tu as ta liste ? Tu sais bien que sans ta fameuse liste, on est perdus !
Sophie : Tiens, justement ! Alors… les cadeaux, c’est bon Marc ? Tu as récupéré celui de ta mère chez le bijoutier ?
Marc : Zut ! J’ai complètement oublié ! Ils ferment à quelle heure aujourd’hui ?
Léa : Papa, mais enfin ! Maman t’en parle depuis une semaine !
Marc : Ben oui, mais avec le boulot… Bon, j’y file tout de suite. Ils ferment sûrement vers 18h.
Sophie : D’accord, mais dépêche-toi ! Pour le repas, Léa, tu confirmes que Thomas vient bien demain ?
Léa : Euh… justement, il y a un petit problème. Sa mère est tombée malade et il doit peut-être aller chez ses parents.
Sophie : Ah bon ? Mais on a prévu pour huit personnes ! Et j’ai déjà tout acheté !
Léa : Je sais maman, désolée… Il me dit ça dans une heure maximum. De toute façon, s’il ne vient pas, on aura plus de restes, hein !
Marc : Bon ben, on s’adaptera ! Et pour l’apéritif, qui s’en occupe ?
Sophie : C’est ton frère Pierre qui apporte le champagne et les petits fours. Je l’ai appelé ce matin, tout est OK.
Léa : Et mamie arrive toujours vers 11h avec papy ?
Sophie : Oui, ils prennent le train de 9h47. Marc, tu n’as pas oublié d’aller les chercher à la gare ?
Marc : Non non, c’est noté ! Mais euh… ma sœur Carole, elle arrive quand déjà ?
Sophie : Elle vient directement avec les enfants vers midi. Oh là là ! J’y pense, les enfants ! On a bien acheté des petits cadeaux pour Emma et Lucas ?
Léa : Oui maman, on en a parlé hier ! Les Lego pour Lucas et la poupée pour Emma.
Marc : Parfait ! Et pour la dinde, Sophie, tu la mets au four à quelle heure ?
Sophie : J’ai calculé : elle doit cuire 4 heures, donc au four à 9h pour être prête à 13h. Ça nous laisse le temps pour l’apéritif.
Léa : Maman, tu veux que je vienne plus tôt pour t’aider ? Je peux être là vers 8h.
Sophie : Oh, ce serait formidable ma chérie ! Tu pourrais m’aider avec les légumes et dresser la table.
Marc : Et moi, à part aller chercher tes parents, qu’est-ce que je peux faire ?
Sophie : Tu peux t’occuper de la musique et vérifier que le chauffage marche bien dans le salon. Il fait un froid de canard !
Léa : Au fait, on fait les cadeaux avant ou après le repas cette année ?
Sophie : Comme d’habitude, après le repas ! Les enfants vont être trop excités sinon.
Marc : Ah, j’y pense ! Ma mère a dit qu’elle apportait sa fameuse bûche au chocolat.
Sophie : Chouette ! En plus de la mienne ? On va avoir le choix alors !
Léa : Bon ben, avec deux bûches, on est sûrs de ne pas manquer de dessert ! Et le café, maman ?
Sophie : J’en ai acheté du bon, ne t’inquiète pas. Dis-moi, tu as pensé à prévenir Thomas pour les allergies de papy ?
Léa : Euh… s’il vient, oui ! Pas de fruits à coque, c’est ça ?
Sophie : Exactement ! Bon, je crois qu’on a fait le tour… Ah non ! Et la vaisselle ? On va être nombreux !
Marc : On sortira le service de ma grand-mère, non ? Celui qu’on utilise pour les grandes occasions ?
