Nous sommes dans une salle de classe de l’Institut français où se déroulent des cours d’art plastique pour adultes. Camille, l’animatrice du cours, discute avec deux participants réguliers, Thomas et Léa, pour organiser une exposition collective des œuvres créées pendant l’année. Camille : Alors les amis, on fait le point sur notre expo ? Il nous reste deux semaines pour tout finaliser !
Thomas : Ouais, carrément ! Moi j’ai hâte de montrer mes toiles. Euh… on a déjà confirmé le lieu ?
Léa : Ben, la galerie du quartier nous a dit oui, mais il faut qu’on leur donne la liste définitive des œuvres avant vendredi.
Camille : Exactement ! Et là, on a un petit souci… J’ai compté et on a plus d’œuvres que prévu. Tiens, regardez ma liste.
Thomas : Ah bon ? Combien on en a au total ?
Camille : Soixante-trois pièces ! Mais la galerie ne peut en accueillir que quarante maximum.
Léa : Zut alors ! Comment on va faire le tri ? C’est délicat de choisir…
Thomas : Euh… on pourrait faire voter les participants ? Chacun sélectionne ses trois meilleures créations ?
Camille : Hm, pas bête ! Mais ça risque d’être subjectif, non ? Et puis, certains ont fait plus d’œuvres que d’autres.
Léa : Tiens, j’ai une idée ! Et si on organisait plusieurs espaces thématiques ? Peinture, sculpture, dessins…
Thomas : Chouette ! Comme ça, on peut équilibrer. Combien on a de peintres déjà ?
Camille : Attendez, je regarde… Quinze personnes en peinture, huit en sculpture, et douze qui font du dessin.
Léa : Parfait ! On pourrait prendre deux œuvres par personne en moyenne ? Ça fait… euh…
Thomas : Ben, ça fait soixante-dix ! Non, ça colle pas non plus, hein !
Camille : Ah, j’avais oublié ! Marie-Claire a eu un empêchement, elle ne pourra pas exposer finalement.
Léa : Ah ? Dommage pour elle ! Ça fait combien d’œuvres en moins ?
Camille : Elle avait préparé quatre toiles. Donc on passe à cinquante-neuf pièces.
Thomas : Bon, on se rapproche ! Il faut encore enlever une vingtaine d’œuvres… C’est chaud !
Léa : Hé, mais au fait, on n’a toujours pas parlé du vernissage ! On fait quoi comme animation ?
Camille : Bonne question ! L’idée c’était de faire quelque chose de convivial, non ?
Thomas : Ouais ! Moi je proposais qu’on fasse une petite démo de peinture en direct. Ça attire toujours les gens.
Léa : Génial ! Et on pourrait aussi prévoir un coin refreshments ? Des petits-fours, du vin…
Camille : Alors là, il faut qu’on voie le budget. On avait dit cent euros maximum pour les frais, c’est ça ?
Thomas : Euh… oui, mais justement, j’ai une mauvaise nouvelle. La location des grilles d’accrochage coûte plus cher que prévu.
Léa : Ah non ! Combien en plus ?
Thomas : Trente euros de plus. Le gars m’a dit que les tarifs avaient augmenté depuis janvier.
Camille : Zut ! Donc il ne nous reste que soixante-dix euros pour le buffet… C’est limite.
Léa : Ben, on peut demander à chacun d’apporter quelque chose ! Une participation collaborative, hein ?
Thomas : Tiens, c’est malin ! Chacun amène un truc à grignoter et une bouteille ?
Camille : Parfait ! Et pour la sélection des œuvres, on fait comment finalement ?
Léa : J’ai repensé à un truc… Et si on faisait une pré-sélection nous trois, et après on soumet aux autres ?
Thomas : Mouais… ça va pas créer des tensions ? Tu sais comme Hervé est susceptible avec ses sculptures !
Camille : Ha ! Tu as raison ! Bon, on va faire démocratique : chacun présente deux œuvres maximum.
Léa : Et pour les nouveaux qui n’ont qu’une seule création aboutie ?
Thomas : Ben, une seule alors ! L’important c’est que tout le monde puisse participer.
Camille : OK ! Donc je récapitule : deux œuvres max par personne, buffet participatif, et démo peinture pendant le vernissage.
Léa : Et n’oublions pas les étiquettes avec les noms et les titres ! L’année dernière, c’était le bazar.
Thomas : Ah oui ! Et il faut prévoir un livre d’or aussi. Les gens adorent laisser des commentaires.
Camille : Chouette ! Bon, je pense qu’on a fait le tour. On se revoit jeudi pour finaliser ?
Léa : Parfait ! J’ai vraiment hâte, ça va être génial cette expo !
Thomas : Ouais ! Après tout ce travail, on mérite bien un peu de reconnaissance, hein !
Camille : Alors à jeudi, et n’oubliez pas de prévenir les autres pour le buffet collaboratif !
