Dans un café parisien, Emma retrouve son ami Thomas pour prendre un verre après le travail. Thomas vient d’apprendre qu’il a obtenu une promotion importante dans son entreprise et il a hâte de partager cette excellente nouvelle avec sa meilleure amie.

Emma : Salut Thomas ! Alors, comment ça va ? Tu as l’air tout excité aujourd’hui !
Thomas : Emma ! Je suis tellement content de te voir ! J’ai une nouvelle fantastique à t’annoncer !
Emma : Ah bon ? Raconte-moi vite ! Tu me fais languir là !
Thomas : Tu te souviens du poste de chef de projet dont je te parlais la semaine dernière ?
Emma : Euh… oui, je crois. C’était pour la branche internationale, c’est ça ?
Thomas : Exactement ! Et ben… je l’ai eu ! Ils m’ont appelé ce matin !
Emma : Non, c’est pas vrai ! Thomas, c’est génial ! Je suis tellement heureuse pour toi !
Thomas : Si si, je te jure ! Je n’arrive toujours pas à y croire moi-même !
Emma : Oh là là, mais c’est fantastique ! Tu dois être aux anges ! Raconte-moi tout !
Thomas : Mon patron m’a dit que j’avais impressionné tout le comité de direction avec mon projet sur l’expansion européenne.
Emma : Hein ? Attends… mais tu m’avais pas dit que tu postulais pour le service marketing ?
Thomas : Ah non non, ça c’était avant ! Ce poste-là, c’est bien mieux ! Je vais gérer toute l’équipe internationale !
Emma : Chouette alors ! Et ça veut dire quoi concrètement ? Une augmentation j’espère ?
Thomas : Et comment ! 30% d’augmentation, plus une voiture de fonction !
