C’est la fin de l’année scolaire au lycée Saint-Martin. Julie, élève en première S, vient d’apprendre que son meilleur ami Thomas doit déménager avec sa famille à Lyon et changer d’établissement. Elle le retrouve dans la cour pendant la récréation pour lui faire ses adieux, accompagnée de leur ami commun Maxime.

Julie: Thomas ! Maxime m’a dit que… c’est vrai que tu pars vraiment à Lyon ?
Thomas: Euh… oui, c’est confirmé. Papa a eu sa mutation, on déménage fin juillet.
Maxime: Mais non, c’est pas possible ! Tu peux pas nous laisser tomber comme ça !
Thomas: Ben, j’ai pas vraiment le choix, tu sais… Mes parents ont déjà trouvé un appartement là-bas.
Julie: Et pour le lycée ? Tu vas t’inscrire où ?
Thomas: Au lycée Édouard-Herriot, dans le 6ème arrondissement. Il paraît que c’est pas mal.
Maxime: Ouais mais c’est pas pareil ! On devait passer le bac ensemble, faire nos révisions…
Thomas: Je sais bien… Ça me fait vraiment ch… euh, ça m’embête aussi, crois-moi.
Julie: Et notre projet de voyage en Espagne cet été ? On avait tout organisé !
Thomas: Justement, c’est ça le problème… Je peux plus venir avec vous.
Maxime: Comment ça ? Le déménagement, c’est fin juillet, non ?
Thomas: Oui mais… euh… mes parents veulent que je reste pour m’occuper de ma petite sœur pendant qu’ils s’installent.
Julie: Ah bon ? Tu m’avais dit qu’elle allait chez vos grands-parents !
Thomas: Ben… en fait… c’est compliqué. Il y a eu un changement de dernière minute.
Maxime: Tiens, c’est bizarre ton histoire… Tu nous caches quelque chose ou quoi ?

Julie: Parce que hier, j’ai croisé ta mère au supermarché et elle m’a dit que Sophie partait bien chez mamie…
Thomas: Bon, d’accord… En fait, j’ai peur de pas m’adapter là-bas. J’ai pas envie de partir en voyage maintenant.
Maxime: Ah ! Je savais bien qu’il y avait anguille sous roche !
Julie: Oh Thomas… Pourquoi tu nous as pas dit la vérité dès le début ?
Thomas: J’sais pas… J’avais honte de vous avouer que j’avais les boules, quoi.
Maxime: Mais on est tes potes ! C’est normal d’avoir un peu la trouille !
Julie: Chouette alors ! Ça veut dire que tu peux encore venir avec nous en Espagne ?
Thomas: Euh… vous m’en voulez pas pour le mensonge ?

Julie: Par contre, il faut qu’on repense à tout… Les dates, l’hébergement…
Thomas: Attendez, j’ai peut-être une idée ! Et si on faisait le voyage plus tôt ? Genre début juillet ?
Maxime: Tiens, c’est pas bête ! Comme ça on profite encore tous ensemble avant ton départ.
Julie: Oui ! Et puis ça te donnera de bons souvenirs pour commencer ta nouvelle vie à Lyon.
Thomas: Vous êtes vraiment géniaux… Je vais trop vous regretter !
Maxime: Hé, on va pas se perdre de vue non plus ! Il y a les réseaux sociaux, Skype…
Julie: Et Lyon, c’est qu’à deux heures en train ! On pourra se voir pendant les vacances.
Thomas: C’est vrai… Et puis qui sait, peut-être que vous ferez vos études supérieures à Lyon aussi ?
Maxime: Pourquoi pas ! Il y a de bonnes universités là-bas.
Julie: En tout cas, il nous reste encore un mois ici. On va en profiter un max !
Thomas: Ouais ! Et on va organiser le meilleur voyage de notre vie en Espagne !
Maxime: Allez, viens ! On va voir si on peut modifier nos réservations au CDI.
Julie: Bonne idée ! Et ce soir, on se fait une soirée ciné chez moi pour célébrer ça ?
Thomas: Avec plaisir ! Vous savez quoi ? Finalement, ce changement d’école, ça va peut-être pas être si terrible…
