Claire et Thomas, un couple marié, discutent dans leur salon en consultant leurs agendas respectifs. Ils doivent organiser leurs congés pour assister aux différentes fêtes familiales prévues cette année : anniversaires, mariages, baptêmes et réunions de famille. La planification s’avère plus compliquée que prévu car leurs familles habitent dans des régions différentes et leurs calendriers professionnels sont très chargés.

Claire : Bon alors, on fait le point sur nos vacances ? Il faut qu’on organise tout ça avant que les bonnes dates soient prises au boulot.
Thomas : Ouais, bonne idée. Euh… déjà, il y a le mariage de ta sœur en juin, non ?
Claire : Exactement ! Le 15 juin à Lyon. Il nous faudra au moins trois jours, je pense. On part le vendredi pour aider à préparer, le mariage le samedi, et on rentre le dimanche.
Thomas : D’accord. Et n’oublie pas l’anniversaire de mes grands-parents en juillet. Mes parents organisent une grande fête pour leurs noces d’or.
Claire : Ah oui, c’est vrai ! C’est quand déjà ?
Thomas : Le weekend du 20 juillet. Mais bon, ça c’est en Bretagne… Il faut compter le voyage.
Claire : Zut, ça fait loin ! On peut pas faire l’aller-retour dans la journée. Il nous faut le vendredi et le lundi en plus, alors ?
Thomas : Ben oui, au minimum. Et puis ma mère compte sur nous pour décorer la salle le vendredi après-midi.
Claire : OK, donc quatre jours pour juillet. Et il y a aussi le baptême du petit Léo en août, hein ?
Thomas : Le fils de ton frère ? Oui, mais ça c’est plus simple, c’est ici en ville. Un dimanche suffit.
Claire : Euh, pas exactement… En fait, mes parents voudraient qu’on reste tout le weekend. Tu sais comment c’est, la famille se voit si rarement…

Claire : En septembre, le deuxième weekend. Et évidemment, c’est dans le Sud, chez ses beaux-parents.
Thomas : Claire, ça commence à faire beaucoup là ! Je peux pas poser trois semaines de congés juste pour la famille !
Claire : Mais c’est important ces moments-là ! On peut pas rater le mariage de ma sœur quand même !
Thomas : Non, bien sûr que non. Mais le truc de ta cousine… on la voit une fois par an !
Claire : Tiens, et la réunion de famille chez tes grands-parents en Normandie ? Tu en fais quoi ?

Claire : Ah si ! Ta grand-mère nous l’a rappelé à Noël. Elle organise ça chaque année maintenant.

Claire : Ou alors, on prend quelques jours de RTT en plus des congés payés ?

Thomas : L’anniversaire de mes grands-parents aussi, c’est super important pour eux. Quatre jours.

Claire : Attends, j’ai une idée ! Et si on combinait certains voyages ? Genre, on va d’abord en Normandie, puis en Bretagne ?
