Thomas appelle sa femme Sophie depuis le bord de l’autoroute pour lui expliquer pourquoi il aura du retard. Sa voiture est tombée en panne et il doit attendre la dépanneuse. Sophie s’inquiète car leur fille Léa les attend pour son spectacle de danse ce soir.

Thomas : Allô Sophie ? Euh… j’ai un petit problème.
Sophie : Thomas ? Qu’est-ce qui se passe ? Tu as une drôle de voix.
Thomas : Ben voilà, je suis bloqué sur l’autoroute. Ma voiture a rendu l’âme.
Sophie : Comment ça “rendu l’âme” ? Qu’est-ce qui s’est passé exactement ?
Thomas : Alors, j’étais tranquillement sur la voie de droite quand tout à coup, j’ai entendu un bruit bizarre.
Sophie : Quel genre de bruit ?
Thomas : Euh… comme un claquement, tu vois ? Et puis la voiture a commencé à perdre de la puissance.
Sophie : Oh non ! Et tu as pu t’arrêter ?
Thomas : Heureusement oui. J’ai réussi à me rabattre sur la bande d’arrêt d’urgence juste à temps.
Sophie : Mon dieu, tu m’as fait peur ! Tu n’as rien, au moins ?
Thomas : Non non, ça va. Mais bon, maintenant je suis coincé. Le moteur ne veut plus démarrer du tout.
Sophie : Tu as essayé de voir ce que c’était ?
Thomas : J’ai ouvert le capot, mais franchement, moi et la mécanique… J’y comprends rien.
Sophie : Attends, tu es où exactement ?
Thomas : Sur l’A6, entre Auxerre et Joigny. Il y a des panneaux partout qui clignotent.
Sophie : Des panneaux qui clignotent ? Qu’est-ce que tu veux dire ?
Thomas : Ben, j’ai mis les warnings et j’ai sorti le triangle de signalisation. Comme on nous a appris, hein !
Sophie : Ah oui, bien sûr ! Et tu as appelé le dépannage ?
Thomas : Oui, ils arrivent dans une heure environ. Mais Sophie… on avait le spectacle de Léa ce soir !

Thomas : À 19h30. Et là il est déjà 17h45…
Sophie : Bon, écoute, moi je peux y aller avec ma mère. Elle voulait venir de toute façon.
Thomas : Tu crois ? Ça ne va pas décevoir Léa que je ne sois pas là ?

Thomas : Bien sûr. J’espère que ce ne sera pas trop cher…
Sophie : On s’en fiche du prix ! L’important c’est que tu sois en sécurité.
Thomas : Tu as raison. Bon, je te laisse organiser le spectacle. Embrasse fort Léa pour moi !
Sophie : Promis ! Et fais attention à toi sur cette autoroute.
