Marc: Ne panique pas ! J’ai déjà cherché des alternatives. Il reste quelques places dans un petit hôtel pas loin du centre de congrès.
Sophie: Oui mais ça va coûter beaucoup plus cher, non ? On avait prévu un budget serré, tu te rappelles ?
Marc: C’est sûr que c’est plus cher… Environ 80 euros la nuit pour une chambre double. Mais bon, qu’est-ce qu’on peut faire d’autre ?
Sophie: Attends, une chambre double ? Tu veux dire… avec un seul lit ?
Marc: Euh… non non, avec deux lits séparés bien sûr ! Qu’est-ce que tu croyais ? Hein, on se connaît depuis le lycée !
Sophie: Ah, excuse-moi ! J’avais mal compris. Bon, 80 euros par nuit… ça fait 320 euros pour quatre nuits. Divisé par deux, ça va encore.
Marc: Exactement ! Et puis, on va passer nos journées dehors à courir les expositions et les ateliers. La chambre, c’est juste pour dormir.
Sophie: Tu as raison. Et niveau transport ? On prend toujours le train ensemble ?
Marc: Oui, j’ai nos billets. Départ samedi matin à 8h30. Ça te va toujours ?
Sophie: Parfait ! Au fait, j’ai vu qu’il y avait un atelier avec ce photographe japonais dont tu m’avais parlé… Kenzo quelque chose ?
Marc: Kenzo Tanaka ! Oui, j’ai vu ça aussi. Mais il faut s’inscrire à l’avance et c’est limité à 15 participants.
Sophie: Zut ! Tu crois qu’il reste de la place ? C’était vraiment mon atelier prioritaire.
Marc: On peut toujours essayer de s’inscrire sur place. Parfois il y a des désistements de dernière minute.
Sophie: Bonne idée ! Et sinon, tu as prévu quoi comme matériel ? Moi j’hésite entre emmener mon trépied ou pas…
Marc: Moi je prends tout : mon reflex, l’objectif grand angle, le 200mm, trépied, flash… Bon d’accord, ça va peser lourd !
Sophie: T’es fou ! Tu vas avoir un mal de dos terrible à porter tout ça pendant quatre jours !
Marc: Ben, c’est le festival le plus important de l’année pour moi. Je veux être prêt pour toutes les situations.
Sophie: Je comprends, mais sois raisonnable. Moi je me limite à l’essentiel : boîtier, deux objectifs, batteries de rechange.
Marc: Tu as sans doute raison… Tiens, j’y pense : et pour les repas ? On fait comment ?
Sophie: Il y a une kitchenette dans l’hôtel ?
Marc: Euh… j’ai pas vérifié. Attends, je regarde leur site… Non, pas de cuisine. Juste un petit-déjeuner inclus.
Sophie: Bon, on se débrouillera ! Il y a sûrement plein de petits restos sympa dans le coin. Et puis, l’ambiance festival, c’est aussi ça !
Marc: Absolument ! D’ailleurs, Clara et Thomas y vont aussi. On pourrait peut-être dîner ensemble un soir ?
Sophie: Ah chouette ! Ça fait longtemps que je les ai pas vus. Tu as leurs numéros ? On pourrait se coordonner.
Marc: Oui, je te les enverrai par SMS. Bon, alors on est d’accord : train samedi matin, hôtel réservé dès demain, et on se prépare une liste des expos à voir absolument ?
Sophie: Parfait ! J’ai déjà repéré trois expositions incontournables et au moins cinq ateliers intéressants.
Marc: Génial ! Bon, je file réserver l’hôtel avant qu’il n’y ait plus de place. Je te confirme tout par mail ce soir ?
Sophie: Super ! Merci Marc, tu gères ! J’ai vraiment hâte d’y être maintenant.
