Marie vient de se rendre compte qu’elle n’a plus de sel pour préparer le dîner. Elle décide de sonner chez son voisin Pierre, un homme sympathique d’une cinquantaine d’années qu’elle connaît depuis qu’elle a emménagé dans l’immeuble il y a six mois. Cette simple demande va être l’occasion d’un petit bavardage de voisinage.

Marie: *[sonne à la porte]* Bonsoir Pierre ! Excusez-moi de vous déranger…
Pierre: Ah bonsoir Marie ! Pas de souci, entrez donc ! Qu’est-ce qui vous amène ?
Marie: Ben voilà, euh… je suis en train de préparer le dîner et je me rends compte que je n’ai plus de sel. Est-ce que vous pourriez m’en dépanner un peu ?
Pierre: Mais bien sûr ! Pas de problème du tout. Gros sel ou sel fin ?
Marie: Sel fin, s’il vous plaît. Juste une petite quantité, hein !
Pierre: *[se dirigeant vers la cuisine]* Attendez-moi deux secondes… Tiens, au fait, ça va mieux votre rhume de la semaine dernière ?
Marie: Ah c’est gentil de demander ! Oui, ça va beaucoup mieux, merci. Et vous, comment ça se passe avec votre nouvelle voiture ?
Pierre: *[depuis la cuisine]* Oh là là, n’en parlons pas ! Elle est déjà en panne ! Vous vous rendez compte ? Je l’ai achetée il y a à peine trois semaines !
Marie: Ah bon ? Zut alors ! Qu’est-ce qui s’est passé ?
Pierre: *[revenant avec le sel]* Un problème de batterie apparemment. Le garagiste dit que c’est un défaut de fabrication. Tenez, voilà votre sel !
Marie: Merci beaucoup ! Euh, vous êtes sûr que ce n’est pas trop ? J’en ai pris pas mal…
Pierre: Mais non, ne vous inquiétez pas ! J’en ai un paquet entier. Au fait, elle est sous garantie au moins, votre voiture ?
Marie: Ma voiture ? Ah non, on parle de la vôtre ! Moi je n’ai pas de voiture, je prends toujours les transports.
Pierre: *[riant]* Ah oui, excusez-moi ! Ben oui, heureusement qu’elle est sous garantie. Mais bon, en attendant je dois me débrouiller autrement.
Marie: C’est embêtant ça ! Vous avez besoin d’aller quelque part demain ? Je peux vous déposer si c’est sur mon chemin.
Pierre: Ah c’est très aimable ! Justement, je dois aller chez le médecin vers 15h. C’est vers la place de la République.
Marie: Parfait ! Je passe devant pour aller au bureau. Je peux vous prendre vers 14h45 ?
Pierre: Euh… attendez, je vérifie… *[consultand son téléphone]* Ah zut ! En fait c’est à 15h30, pas 15h. Ça vous arrange toujours ?
Marie: Hmm, là ça risque d’être juste pour moi. J’ai une réunion à 16h… Mais bon, on peut essayer !
Pierre: Non non, ne vous embêtez pas ! Mon fils peut sûrement me déposer. D’ailleurs, il vient dîner ce soir.
Marie: Ah chouette ! Il va bien Thomas ?
Pierre: Très bien ! Il a trouvé un nouveau boulot la semaine dernière. Dans l’informatique.
Marie: Ah ben ça c’est une bonne nouvelle ! Dans quelle boîte ?
Pierre: Une start-up qui s’occupe de… euh… comment dire… d’applications mobiles pour les restaurants.
Marie: Tiens, c’est original ! Et il s’y plaît ?
Pierre: Pour l’instant oui ! Bon, c’est tout nouveau, hein, mais l’ambiance a l’air sympa.
Marie: Tant mieux ! Bon, je vous laisse alors, mon plat va brûler ! Merci encore pour le sel !
